This is a very beautiful, unique and substantial hand crafted White Tara Statue from Nepal which is partly gold plated.
A fourth generation Nepalese artisan, Suman Shakya, made this statue, and was taught the art of sculpture by his grandfather.
The White Tara statue is over 8 inches tall and made of copper & brass with gold plated detail and is hand painted.

White Tara (Sitatārā) is a Bodhisattva of compassion and action.
She is worshiped by practitioners of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop the qualities of compassion (karuṇā), loving-kindness (mettā) and emptiness (shunyata).
White Tara, known as Sita Tara in Sanskrit, is worshipped as the mother of all Buddhas and an embodiment of the maternal aspect of compassion.
Her white color is a symbol of purity, the immaculate truth of the Dharma and perfectly pure wisdom.
She is also associated with long life, the healing of physical and mental illnesses, and the elimination of difficulties that appear on the road to the ultimate goal of enlightenment.
Her power is related to the prevention of accidents, natural disasters, lack of physical vitality, and anything that could endanger life.
The white form of Tara is very popular in Tibet, where she is known as Drolma Karmo or Drolkar.
In the pantheon of Tibetan Buddhism, she serves as the main deity of longevity together with Amitayus and Ushnishavijaya.
Tibetans worships Tara as one of the most important deities along with Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion.
They recognize her enlightened nature reincarnated in women with extraordinary qualities.
This tradition is spread through the regions of Tibetan Buddhism, including Mongolia.
White Tara is depicted sat cross-legged in a meditative position atop of a blue lotus (Utpala) moon seat.
She is notable for her 7 eyes, with a third eye in her forehead and the other four on the palms of her hands, and the upward facing soles of her feet.
These eyes symbolise her compassionate vigilance, clear-sighted wisdom, and heartfelt compassion.
Her left hand is poised in the protective mudra, and her right in the wish-granting mudra. In her left hand she holds the stem of a Utpala lotus flower.
White Tara also goes by the name of Ārya Tārā, Shayama Tara and Jetsun Dölma (Tibetan), Tara Bosatsu (Japanese) and occasionally Duōluó Púsà (Chinese).
Her name literally means “star”/“planet” and she is associated with navigation, both literally, and metaphorically.
In Tibetan her name means “she who saves” and she is often referred to as a “mother”.
The earliest identifiable image of Tara is found within the Buddhist monastic complex of the Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, India, dating to the 7th Century CE.
The Tara mantra used by Buddhists and Hindus alike is: “oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā” which translates to “Oṃ O Tārā, I pray O Tārā, O Swift One, So Be It!”.
Some precautions you should keep in mind when cleaning gold statues:
• Do not touch or water clean the Gold plated face. Gently wipe with a soft cloth.
• Do not use scrubbing cloths that are highly abrasive. Similarly, avoid using steel wool or metal bristled brushes as they will leave scratches on the surface of the Statue.
• Try avoiding touching gold statues too much, as the natural oils from your hands can speed up the tarnishing process and reduce the beauty and life of your gold objects.

Ubique Botanical Perfumes contain concentrated botanicals. Plant, flower, wood oils, absolutes, tinctures, and concretes are used and may cause an allergic reaction if you have an allergy to these substances. It is always best to begin your fragrant Ubique journey with a sample before purchasing a larger size, but don't wait too long...these are limited creations and they sell out quickly!

As this is pure perfume, only a drop or two is needed. The organic botanical alcohol is NOT drying like the alcohol used in mass marketed perfumes. The EDP's (Eau de Parfum) come in convenient spray bottles.
Mine Rough Stones and Crystals
Mine rough stones are those we procure directly from a mine instead of a mass dealer. These stones are fresh from the earth and have not been previously sold. We prefer mine rough stones as the vibrational qualities are HIGH.
ALL STONES AND CRYSTALS ARE MINED.
One should not expect perfection when purchasing from ANY dealer unless the stone has been cut and polished and is listed as "perfect".
If perfection is desired, please only purchase cut and polished "perfect" stones.
Mine rough stones may have dents, dings, etc. We photograph each stone and describe what we see. We do not sell that which is not of high vibrational quality and authentic.

We are happy to reserve items that are considered SOLD to you as reserves and are "promises to purchase" .
The maximum hold time is 14 days. The items are considered SOLD to you, awaiting your actual purchase.
In order to reserve an item, one should use the 'Message Cam’ link on the item page, with your request to reserve the item, including the date you plan to purchase it (within the 14 day hold period).
If one fails to purchase the item (s) by the date agreed upon, any future requested reserves will require a non-refundable deposit.
